First exhibited at Royal Academy aged 21. Had some art lessons from James Duffield Harding. Turned from oil to working exclusively in watercolour. Travelled widely in England and on the Continent painting landscapes. An active member, (‘old’) Society of Painters in Watercolours. Represented in a number of public collections.
