Provenance: with Appleby Brothers exhibited: A version of this subject was exhibited at the Incorporated Society of Artists in 1775 (medium not known). Woollett was secretary to the Incorporated Society of Artists, which appear to have continued to exhibit until 1791. The records are now held by the Royal Academy.
